Risk Disclosure

The risks involved in trading foreign exchange and in account management.

Last updated September 2, 2026

01

Purpose of this notice

vmakol.com publishes content about trading foreign exchange, and describes ventures that provide account management, education and community for traders. This notice sets out the risks that come with that subject matter. Please read it before acting on anything you find on this website.

This notice cannot describe every risk of trading. It is a summary, not an exhaustive account.

02

Trading foreign exchange carries a substantial risk of loss

Foreign exchange is a volatile market. Prices move continuously, and they can move sharply and without warning in response to economic data, central bank decisions, political events and conditions that no participant anticipated.

Trading foreign exchange is not suitable for every person. It is possible to lose some or all of the money you commit. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose, and you should not commit funds you may need for living costs, debt, or any other obligation.

03

Leverage magnifies both directions

Foreign exchange is commonly traded using leverage, which means controlling a position considerably larger than the money deposited to support it. Leverage magnifies gains, and it magnifies losses in exactly the same proportion.

A small adverse move in price can produce a loss that is large relative to your deposit, and can result in a position being closed automatically. Depending on your broker, the account type and the jurisdiction, a loss can in some circumstances exceed the amount deposited. You should understand precisely how leverage and margin work on your own account before using them.

04

No outcome is guaranteed

No strategy, system, method or professional can guarantee a profit or eliminate the risk of loss. Nothing on this website is offered as a guarantee, and any statement anywhere that appears to promise a particular return should be treated with scepticism, including statements about this website's own subject matter.

A disciplined process improves the quality of decisions. It does not remove risk, and it does not make losses avoidable.

05

Past performance does not indicate future results

Any record of past results, however it was produced, describes conditions that existed at the time. Market conditions change, and a method that performed in one period may perform differently, or poorly, in another.

Past performance does not guarantee or indicate future results. This applies to every figure, description and account on this website.

06

Figures published on this website

This website displays figures relating to experience, strategies, an amount under management, awards and frameworks. Those figures are provided by Vinit Makol and are self reported.

They have not been independently audited or verified. They are published as background rather than as a performance record, and they should not be used as the basis for any decision.

07

Client statements and reported returns

This website publishes testimonials from named individuals. Some of them describe a monthly rate of return.

Those statements are the accounts of the individuals who made them, published as received. They are not independently verified, they are not audited, and they are not adopted by us as a representation of what any service achieves. A rate of return described by a client is that client's account of their own account, over a period they have not specified in detail.

Individual results vary considerably. No figure described by any client should be understood as typical, expected, projected or repeatable, and none of them is a promise to you.

08

Account management arrangements

Where trading is carried out on your behalf under an account management arrangement, the risks described in this notice continue to apply to your capital. Delegating the decisions does not reduce market risk; it changes who makes the decisions.

Before entering any such arrangement you should understand, in writing, what authority is being granted, how it can be withdrawn, how fees are calculated, where your funds are held, who holds them, what reporting you will receive, and what happens in a loss. Any such arrangement is governed by its own agreement, not by this website.

09

Educational content is not personal advice

Content on this website, and educational material connected with the ventures described on it, is general in nature. It does not take account of your objectives, financial position, experience or needs, and it is not a personal recommendation.

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no regulatory status, registration or licence is claimed anywhere on it.

10

Assess your own circumstances, and take advice

Before trading, or before committing capital to anyone else to trade, consider carefully whether it is appropriate for you in light of your objectives, your financial position, your experience and how much you can afford to lose.

If you are in any doubt, seek independent advice from a professional who is qualified and, where required, licensed to provide it in your jurisdiction. Requirements and protections for traders differ substantially from one country to another, and it is your responsibility to understand those that apply to you.
